    Anywhere in the world. Endorsement filed online by Arts Council England (or PACT / BFC / RIBA for sub-bodies). Biometrics at a local UK VAC.

    Family day one

    Spouse and children under 18 added on the same application. Partner works unrestricted day one — useful for dual-career creative households.

    Kids' education

    UK state schooling is free for visa-resident children K through 13. London's cultural sector is also a major draw for creative-industry families.

    NHS healthcare

    NHS access from day one once IHS is paid. Full care — including mental health support which matters in freelance / project-based work.

    Citizenship path

    ILR after 3 years (Exceptional Talent) or 5 years (Exceptional Promise). British citizenship eligibility 12 months after ILR.
